It has been pointed out I didn't finish ripping "It Sucks". Doh. So I posted I May Already Be A Winner and two versions of Booger. I can't find the original 4-track version of this song, so I did what I could with the original cassette version, then posted a "remastered" alternate take that I *DO* have the 4-track for.

Started working on "No Smurfing Zone"...Little Bits of Blue and Mondays are posted.
I also posted full tape "rips" of It Sucks and Mommy's Got a Migraine (from the original tapes) if anyone cares! Will do the other two albums later. Tomatoe Potatoe is like 100 minutes long. Ugh!

Moved the remasters to their respective directories. This is a lot more work than you would think to put all this together again!!

It occurs to me that the mp3's of HUH? were really crappy quality. I went ahead and reripped them at 320KB and they sound a lot better. I guess when I did the CD I redid some of the songs entirely -
likely in Cakewalk around 1997 or so. I have a vague memory of redoing them all with the SC-88 and redoing all the vocals, so this would explain why a lot of the songs on HUH sound a lot different than the original cassette versions.
Sadly I don't have those computer files anymore though so this is as good as those are going to get. Something to be said for keeping analog copies I guess.
Thanks to The Swill Man for helping out with hosting .wav files for HUH? and Mommy's Got A Migraine! (warning these are HUGE files)

So I'm remixing the old songs. This is an ongoing process! Originally, I took the 4 track recording and mixed it down to a 2nd cassette deck "live" (ugh),
then made a CD of that master tape (which was then copied to make the original cassettes I gave out), then made a 128/160k mp3 of that. It sounded like dog poo.
But I can now bring the individual tracks into the computer and mess with them there. Hopefully in time I will go through everything!
Unfortunately the music was pre-mixed before I put it on the 4 track....I would record the music in cakewalk first, then mix it there and dump it all to one track of the 4 track,
leaving the last 3 tracks for vocals.
So there's not much I can do with the music and drums, but all the vocals sound much better, and there are no sound quality issues anymore from going 4track-cassette-tape-cd-mp3. Yay.
It's amazing how often the song Barney's On Fire gets misattribued to Weird Al. For the record...WEIRD AL DID NOT WRITE OR PERFORM BARNEY'S ON FIRE!!!! I, TONY MASON DID, BACK IN 1993!!! Thank you :)
